Cumbria Tourism endorse 'Lead, Motivate and Succeed'
"Brilliant course. I really enjoyed it and felt I learnt loads which I will put into practice now” and “interesting and informative and well worth doing" were just two of the comments made by delegates attending Lead, Motivate and Succeed courses held in Cumbria.
Since introducing Lead, Motivate and Succeed in June of this year, over 70 supervisors and first time managers from a range of hotels and tourist attractions across Cumbria have participated in courses. Participants have been unanimous in their endorsement of the course and their line managers have noted a real change in their attitude to their roles on return to work.
Castle Green Hotel, Kendal an AA 3* 84% hotel with 2 red AA rosettes organised an in-house course for supervisory staff from Housekeeping, Restaurant, Reception and Kitchen. Julie Chapman, Director for Castle Green Hotel said that “the staff who attended the course are more motivated and this can be seen in the way they work with their teams - which therefore has a positive effect on the hotel as a whole”.
