Dubia World Cup

Five sixth form students from Liverpool’s Archbishop Beck Catholic High School spent their Easter holiday weekend working in Dubai. Having already taken part in a “Welcome Host” training course, the five Year 12 students had the opportunity to work at the Dubai World Cup on Saturday 26th March. They were able to put their hospitality skills to good use working alongside Jumeirah International staff at the Nad Al Sheba racecourse. The students performed very well and created a very favourable impression with their Jumeirah International supervisors.

The trip also allowed the group to take part in various activities, visiting a range of locations in Dubai including:

  • Desert Safari and wadi-bashing trip to Hatta
  • Private tour of the Burj Al Arab (the world’s only 7* hotel)
  • Wild Wadi Waterpark
  • Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa
  • Planet Hollywood
  • The Gold Souk
  • Evening cruise on Dubai Creek
