Yarmouth Harbour welcomes thousands of visitors each year. The majority visit us by boat but we also have visitors who are already on the Island on holiday.
As well as being a Trust Port we also have the added responsibility of providing a Tourist Information Point. Our staff are able to help with information on all sorts of activities and places to visit, here in Yarmouth, West Wight and all over the Island.
We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and for that reason we have taken advantage of the Welcome Host Gold course offered by Tourism South East.
By the end of March all of our customer facing staff will have completed the course and gained a City & Guilds qualification, for which they should be proud.
To be able to display the Welcome to Excellence logo will show to our visitors that we are passionate about customer service and that we will go out of our way to ensure that their stay is a safe and enjoyable one.
