Welcome to Excellence launches new course in response to demand

Welcome to Excellence, the leading customer service training programme in the UK, have launched a new course, taking the total number in their programme to eight.

The new course is called ‘Lead, Motivate and Succeed’.

Chris Murphy of Regional Tourist Board Partnerships Ltd says: ‘This exciting new course fills a gap in the market. Until now, we did not offer a course designed especially for first-time managers, helping them to make the next step in their career and become effective and inspirational team leaders.’

Chris continues: ‘Becoming a manager for the first time demands an entirely new mindset and approach. You are now responsible for getting the most out of your team and most new managers need training to help them learn the new skills and strategies they require.’

‘Lead, Motivate and Succeed’ covers topics such as sharing objectives, effective communication, motivation, delegation and resolving problems.

The one-day course is delivered through a combination of expert instruction, group activity and personal action planning

As with all Welcome to Excellence courses, ‘Lead, Motivate and Succeed’ is delivered throughout England by regional tourist boards and other Welcome to Excellence partners.

Chris concludes: ‘We are very excited about the launch of this new course, which we expect to make a real difference to the performance of individual managers and help boost the overall quality of the organisations in which they work.’
