Inclusion – Everyone feels better when they are included. Give your staff a safe and secure channel where they can be honest and expect their feedback to be heard and acted upon and you’ll see an increase in team morale.
Ask the Right Questions – When putting together a staff survey, or building channels of communication only ask the important questions that you know you can act upon and make decisive action based upon the answers. There is nothing worse for staff morale than asking an opinion on something that will never be changed.
Have a Clear Vision – From the CEO down to the staff dealing with customers face-to-face, having a clear company ideal that threads through all aspects of the organisation and service will increase the chances of success. If everyone understands employee engagement, it will work.
